The Fight Continues: Reelect Brandon for Region 9A
Dear UAW Region 9A family,
Around the country, rank-and-file workers are reviving the labor movement to fight back against record levels of inequality and the billionaire takeover of our economy and politics. The billionaire class has been fighting a class war against labor for fifty years, and we have finally had enough.
In the past four years, thousands of members have built strong campaigns to take on their bosses and win record contracts. We’ve fought against corporate greed and layoffs. We’ve fought against funding cuts from union busters at the federal and state levels. And our example has inspired nearly 20,000 workers (and counting) across sectors to form and win a union for the first time with the UAW in our region. Region 9A is growing, fighting, and winning.
During my term, I’ve worked to mobilize every resource possible to support your fight for dignity and justice. And I stand ready to build on that foundation. That is why I am running for a second term as your regional director. I’m running together with UAW President Shawn Fain, whose support for our region has been essential to our success.
Our region reflects the full diversity of the UAW membership including autoworkers, higher education workers, marine drafters, legal services advocates, casino dealers, cafeteria workers, government employees, museum and movie theater staff, and much more. We organize across the private and public sectors, and we fight for justice no matter who the boss is.
UAW members are seizing this generation’s defining moment. Together, we’ve charted a new direction for Region 9A—and we’re just getting started. We have gotten back to our roots as a militant and democratic union, and we won’t stop at the workplace. We are building our UAW into a political force that takes on the billionaires and authoritarians and fights for the future of the working class.
I hope to earn your support at this critical time for our union. You can learn more about this year’s election, our record and vision for Region 9A, and how you can get involved at brandonfor9a.org. If you are so moved and have the means to make a donation, please do so at brandonfor9a.org/support.

Brandon
